Ori Lantern Series Swag Pendant Lamp

We used this swag pendant in a corner of our living room where there wasn’t a ceiling box, and it ended up being the perfect solution. The plug-in design made it much easier than installing a hardwired light, and the tiered paper shade looks beautiful once it’s up. It gives off a soft warm glow that makes the whole space feel calmer at night. I also love that it has a sculptural look without feeling heavy.

I bought this for our bedroom because I wanted lighting that felt softer and more relaxed than a standard pendant. The layered lantern shape adds so much character, and the paper diffuses the light in a really gentle way. It creates a cozy atmosphere without making the room feel dark. The overall look is simple, airy, and very easy to style with neutral furniture.

This light looks even better in person than it did online. We hung it over a small reading nook, and it added exactly the soft ambient glow I was hoping for. The shape feels organic and a little vintage, but it still works well with our modern decor. It has a quiet presence that makes the room feel more thoughtful and finished.

I really like the design of this pendant and the flexibility of the swag cord, especially since I didn’t want to deal with hardwiring. The light it gives off is warm and pleasant, but it is definitely more ambient than bright. For atmosphere it works very well, though I still needed another light nearby when I wanted stronger illumination. Overall it looks beautiful, but I think it’s best for mood lighting rather than task lighting.
