Round Alabaster Pendant Light

We installed this over a small round dining table and it looks much better in person than I expected. The alabaster has soft veining that shows nicely in daylight, and at night the light feels warm without being harsh. It made the dining corner feel finished.

I used two of these above our kitchen island. They are not oversized, but the shape has enough presence that the island finally feels intentional. The black and white finish works well with our simple cabinets.

The light is soft and even, which is exactly what I wanted for our bedroom corner. It is more of a calm glow than a bright task light, and that works well for the space. The stone shade gives it a quiet, natural look.

We put this pendant in our entryway and it changed the first impression of the house. I like that it looks clean but not plain. The only thing to plan for is the hanging height, since we adjusted it twice before it looked right.

This pendant has a really nice balance between modern and natural. During the day it looks like a simple sculptural piece, and in the evening the alabaster gives off a softer glow than a regular glass shade.
